Challenge: A fund in court protection under CCAA needed an assessment conducted of one its assets, a cloud-based technology company operating under a SaaS (Software as a Solution) business model.

Approach: Conducted an in-depth analysis of the potential of the various markets in which the firm competed, as well as its ability to successfully deliver against the opportunities. Developed a detailed 10-year financial forecast showing that the significant losses incurred due to high customer acquisition costs in the early years were more than paid back in the later years, making this a solid investment opportunity.
